SHEKINAH DORELLE P. QUERI earned her master’s degree in Speech Communication from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She is an assistant professor of Speech Communication with the Department of Communication, University of the Philippines Baguio. She is drawn toward researches that explore spaces of discourse for the disempowered (indigenous studies, performance studies, and cultural studies as prime examples).
