[GUIDELINES FOR TP REQUESTS] For TPs, please send an email to the faculty-in-charge. Once your request is approved, please send a request to the enlister email with attached proof of acceptance from the faculty-in-charge. Here are the step-by-step process in requesting a teacher's prerogative (TP) for classes. You can also see here the templates and enlister emails you will use when requesting a TP. Two UP Baguio Alumni Honored as TOYM Awardees Zig Dulay and Venazir Martinez, distinguished alumni of the University of the Philippines Baguio College of Arts and Communication have been named 2024 Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) awardees. Zig Dulay, a renowned filmmaker, and Venazir Martinez, an international street muralist and visual anthropologist, were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the fields of arts and culture. Dulay's critically-acclaimed works include the MMFF 2023 Best Picture film "Firefly" and the Philippine television drama series "Maria Clara at Ibarra." Martinez' street murals in Baguio City draw inspiration from Cordilleran culture. The prestigious TOYM award honors outstanding young Filipinos who have made significant contributions to their fields and communities. This year’s selection process saw a record-high number of nominees. CAC Alumni Honored with Gawad Pahinungod Justine Bryll Andrada and Nique Jade Tarubal, BA Communication alumni of the University of the Philippines Baguio College of Arts and Communication, were among the recipients of the inaugural Gawad Pahinungod, a prestigious award recognizing outstanding individuals for their exemplary service to the nation through the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod. Andrada and Tarubal were honored for their volunteerism and contributions during their time as volunteers of the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod Baguio. The award ceremony was held on December 9, 2023, at the University of the Philippines Diliman. The Gawad Pahinungod is a recognition program of the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, the volunteer service program of the University of the Philippines. The event celebrates individuals across different constituent universities of the University of the Philippines System who embody the values of honor, excellence, and service to the nation through volunteerism.
