DULAANG UP BAGUIO

DUPB is an institutional organization of the University of the Philippines Baguio. It specializes in performance as a medium of communication and engagement with the audience.
The organization produces stage plays, organizes training and workshops for its members, provides interactive practice to the community through performance, conducts research, and facilitates discussion.
DUPB is housed by the College of Arts and Communication but membership is open to faculty members and students from other colleges of UP Baguio with a passion for storytelling.

UP BAGUIO CAC ARTS WORKSHOP (CACAW)/UP BAGUIO SUMMER ARTS WORKSHOP

The UP Baguio CAC Arts Workshop (CACAW) is an extension program by the University of the Philippines Baguio, spearheaded by the College of Arts and Communication. It aims to offer various workshops in the field of visual arts, performing arts and writing.
CACAW is formerly called UP Baguio Summer Arts Workshop. Now on its 36th year, this week-long event is usually held during midyear.

UP BAGUIO CORDILLERA CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP

The UP Baguio Cordillera Creative Writing Workshop is an annual creative writing workshop for new and emerging writers. It is also the longest running creative writing workshop in the region.
CCWW features lecture, mentoring and workshop sessions from expert writers in the Cordillera region for five days. CCWW also features public lectures on creative writing and literature.
The workshop is organized by faculty members from the Department of Language, Literature and the Arts.

TALASTASAN LECTURE SERIES

The CAC Talastasan Lecture Series is a series of public lectures that feature researches and projects done by CAC faculty members and/or resource speakers invited by the college.

CAC COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND ARTS OUTREACH

The Communication Skills and Arts Workshop is one of the extension programs of CAC. The program offers free workshops in basic journalism, broadcast announcing, performance art, public speaking, writing in Ibaloi and Kankanaey, acrylic painting, drawing in 3D, fiction and folklore writing, research and citation, and speech writing. These workshops are facilitated by faculty members from Department of Communication and the Department of Language, Literature and the Arts.
The most recent workshop was held at Tublay School of Home Industries (TSHI) in Tublay, Benguet on April 4 and 5, 2024.
